教員サポート(School Based Education Support)

コースで学ぶ内容

オーストラリアでは、学校で教員の手伝いをするアシスタント人員を、Teacher Aide=ティーチャーエイドと呼びます。
School Based Education Supportコースでは、小学校・中学校・高校など学校をベースとした環境で、アシスタントを必要とする授業や、病気などによる心身の発達の遅延などがある生徒のサポートなどを行うスキルを、実習を交えながら実践的に身につけます。

下記は、クイーンズランド州のサンシャインコーストにキャンパスを持つTAFE Queensland East Coastのコース内容です。

Certificate III in School Based Education Support（9ヶ月）

様々な学校現場で教師補助者として働きたいと考えている方のためのエントリーレベルのコースです。学校や地域教育の場などで教員の補助を行う際に役立つ基礎スキルを身につけます。コースには100時間の実習が含まれます。

Certificate IV in School Based Education Support（9ヶ月）

オーストラリアでティーチャーエイドまたはアシスタントとしてとして働くために必要とされるレベルです。読み書きや計算、個々の生徒の特定の学習ニーズ、障がいを持つ生徒のサポートなどに必要なスキルを身につけます。コースには100時間の実習が含まれます。

英語力はどれぐらい必要？

IELTS Academic 6.0（各項目5.5以上）or 同等

TAFE Queensland East CoastのSchool Based Education Supportコース入学には、
IELTS 6.0（アカデミックモジュールで各バンド5.5以上）または
PTE (Academic) 50 または
TOEFL iBT 64（R13/L12/S18/W21）または
Cambridge English FirstCAE (C1 Advanced) 169　または
これらと同等レベルの英語力証明が必要です。

英語力が足りない場合はどうすればいい？

TAFE Queensland付属または提携の英語学校をセットにした留学プランがあります。まず、はじめに英語コースに通い、指定のコースを修了することで、IELTSやTOEFLの提出が免除され、そのまま専門コースに進学できます。

その際、英語コースにどれだけ通えばいいか？は、個々の英語力により異なります。まずは日本でIELTS Academic、または、TOEFLのどちらかを受けられた後、その結果をこちらよりお知らせください。
