コースで学ぶ内容

オーストラリアのTAFEで学ぶ建築・建設コース

建設のプロジェクトマネジメント、関連する技術系会社の選定や契約方法、建設に関わるコスト算出、建築や建設に関する必要書類の作成、建設作業がスムーズにいくよう、監督ができるようになることを目的としています。英語で建設作業をしたり、現場での指示が出せる人材を目指すことができます。

下記は、アデレードにある南オーストラリア州立専門学校TAFE SA Tonsley Campus（テイフ・サウスオーストラリア・トンズリー・キャンパス）で開講されているコースの詳細です。

同キャンパスは、三菱自動車の跡地に1億2千万ドルの設備費用を投じて建てられた、同校の中でも一番新しいキャンパスです。

4階建ての建築設備には、業界をリードするワークショップ、コンピューター支援設計室、コンピューター数値制御（CNC）木工・フライス盤などの建築・建設の専門設備があります。多くの建築関係コースがひとつ屋根の下に集まっており、実際の仕事場を想定した環境で、実践的な授業を受けられるのが魅力です。

Certificate IV in Building and Construction [Building]（約1.5年）

低層建築分野におけるプロのビルダー、または建設管理者を目指す方に適したコースです。

ビルダーは建築の中心となる人物で、プランニングから成功の保証まで、仕事のすべての側面に責任を持ちます。コースでは、財務、プランニングと見積もり、契約とスケジュール、法的要件、OHSコンプライアンス、構造原則、そして中小企業経営の重要な側面について学びます。

コースはコア11科目と選択8科目から構成されています。

Diploma of Building and Construction [Building]（2.5年）

住宅および商業セクターの中層建設プロジェクトを管理するために必要な貴重なスキルを身につけます。請負業者の選定、工事品質の監督、顧客との連絡など、建設業者のニーズを満たすための内容です。

コースでは、建築実務、規範と構造、見積もりと入札、契約管理、リスクと財務管理、プロジェクト計画、さらに中層建築の原価計算システム、エネルギー効率と持続可能性、品質管理、顧客との関係管理について学びます。

商業セクターの建設業界に興味がある、または、すでにそのエリアで、建設業者、現場監督、建築監督として働いており、キャリアアップを目指す方にも適した内容です。

英語力はどれぐらい必要？

IELTS Academic 6.0（各バンド5.0以上）または同等

TAFE SAのCertificate IV of Building and Construction [Building]または
Diploma of Building and Construction [Building]に直接入学するためには
IELTS Academic 6.0（各バンド5.0以上）または
同等レベルの英語力証明が必要です。

英語力が足りない場合はどうすればいい？

TAFE SA付属または提携の英語学校をセットにした留学プランがあります。まず、はじめに英語コースに通い、指定のコースを修了することで、IELTSやTOEFLの提出が免除され、そのまま専門コースに進学できます。

その際、英語コースにどれだけ通えばいいか？は、個々の英語力により異なります。まずは日本でIELTS Academic、または、TOEFL iBTのどちらかを受けられた後、その結果をこちらよりお知らせください。
